Bridging schools & industry for 30 years

Each year hundreds of teachers bring tens of thousands of students to attend the Careers Expo throughout the country, taking advantage of opportunity for their students to talk face to face with the widest range of employers, industry, government departments, and training providers.

In addition to the event, the Expo provides teachers with valuable resources to educate and inform their students on Vocational Pathways; including our online content and study resources.

Admission to the Expo is FREE and is held in premier venues throughout New Zealand. Help ensure your students enter the workforce prepared.

You may remember my contacting you about wanting to get information from the Careers Expo regarding Automotive Engineering Courses at Auckland technical institutions, on behalf of Michael, a 15 year.  You advised me to visit the Toyota stand for advice.

We took your advice and found a staff member very helpful and she talked to Michael about the NZ Certificate of Automotive Engineering.  She also gave Michael a brochure on Toyota’s careers plan for young people starting as car groomers etc and moving to an apprenticeship.

We came away with Michael feeling positive about the qualification. He will talk to his teachers about preparing to attend UNITEC in 2024.

We all enjoyed the Expo and it was good for Michael to see such a large group of his peers actively seeking career information.

Check out the Online Expo for regularly updated content and resources that is available year round to you and your students.
